HOOPr aims to set a new standard for youth basketball tournaments with its inaugural “Create the Great”, HOOPr Classic. The tournament will feature some of the top youth basketball programs from Southern California, a free skills clinics, sponsor booth section, player/coach interviews by HOOPr TV, digital photobooth to capture memories, and player rankings at the end of the tournament.

The HOOPr app will be one of the highlights of the tournament as players, coaches, and parents will get a firsthand look at the new app. Branded as the social media app for basketball training, the app focuses on connecting “HOOPrs” by sharing basketball drills and workouts. Networking and communicating with coaches/players privately is seamless with the TEAMS feature. The DRILLS library acts as its own ecosystem that grows each time a HOOPr uploads a new drill. Its not just a basketball training app or a social networking app, its the best of both worlds.
The HOOPr Classic will be held at the Jump Beyond Sports Complex in Torrance, CA, March 11 - 12, grades 4th – 8th (boys). This will be the first of many tournaments and camps hosted by HOOPr. Expect a one of a kind basketball experience.
